CHARACTER: KARi Harrison (K.H.)
Kari is a tender, wonderful mother who has survived horrific physical abuse. She is originally from Nebraska, where she attended as a Cornhusker for a year before marrying her Navy Seal husband. Kari’s story tragically represents so many people who are trapped in violent, manipulative circumstances. Her light is apparent from the first moment we meet her and she’ll have more chances to share that light as season 2 goes on.

This is her first experience with voice-acting. Lauren also loves reading and writing (she has a bachelor’s degree in English), playing piano and cello, baking bread, thrift store shopping, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, and being an aunt.
Question:
What do you hope people will get from listening?
Lauren's Answer:
I hope anyone listening to the podcast will come away with a desire to try a little bit harder to tune into our human capacity to feel with others, to pay attention to those around us and try to understand them. I also hope with all my heart that survivors of abuse of all kind will find tools to help them, knowledge that they’re not alone, and be able to start (or continue) a path to full healing.
