CHARACTER: DR. PERSEPHONE JEANNE KOLASI

In this future world, Dr. Kolasi is a Co-Director for the Federal Reclamation Center, an innovative arm of the Reformed Justice System. Persy spent the majority of her early career counseling combat veterans, empaths, and former members of the intelligence community. While on that career track, she noticed a hole in the justice system and designed a reformation that could be implemented with post-war national support for more compassionate interaction. As a survivor of coercive control herself, Persy organized and lead the Justice Reformation Campaign Committee to ensure survivors could always receive support while healing.

Kate is passionate about four things: her Husband, her Son, Community Theatre, and spreading information that will empower victims and survivors. She is currently pursuing her Master's in Psychology while working as an Instructional Designer. Kate has spent close to three decades in community and semi-professional theatre, both as actor and director. Her unique collection of skills is most informed by her experience as a volunteer Victim Advocate. When not in a darkened theatre or playing with her son, Kate can be found on a warm, sunny beach or on Peter Pan’s Flight at Disneyland.
